Firstly, this scrub is well presented in a high quality box and sturdy plastic jar. The product smells gorgeous; a lovely natural smell that is not overpowering. The texture of the product is very thick, almost like butter, meaning that you only need to apply a small amount.
The side of the box shows directions for use but, interestingly, inside the box there is a small card which gives different application advice. The card says that a testing group for the product showed that it is more effective to apply the scrub to dry skin and then shower off rather than applying to wet skin. I have tried scrubs before that have a similar consistency to this and found them impossible to use. They slide off wet skin and don't allow you to rub them in. Using this on dry skin is an absolutely genius idea.
I apply this before my shower to my knees, elbows and ankles or any other areas that need some exfoliating. I use small amounts and rub it in in circular motions. The scrub is abrasive but also moisturising. The product showers off well, not clinging to the skin, and leaves areas feeling smooth and hydrated.
This is a lovely, high quality product and feels like a spa treat for the skin. I have been using this before tanning and it does a lovely job of giving a smooth base for my tan. Although a little on the pricey side, a little of this product goes a long way and I only exfoliate weekly so this product should last me a decent amount of time!
